I help with the day-to-day operations of a luxury high-rise condo. My duties include improving operational systems, managing payroll, supporting the Board of Directors, assisting the General Manager when needed, and supervising & coaching the concierge team. My promotion was a direct result of my outstanding work in my short time at 1100 Wilshire.Along with preparing monthly presentations to the Board of Directors, I am responsible for helping produce the Homeowners Association's annual Budget and Audit. These two critical projects are each made up of several key components, and are projects that require several weeks of preparation with meticulous attention to detail.

I assisted the general manager of a luxury mixed-use high-rise condo. My duties included preparing reports, managing multiple calendars, coordinating with vendors, proofreading outbound documents, and serving as liaison between the GM, the engineering staff, and the front desk.In a simple sentence, my job was to make my GM's job easier.

I assisted the director of food and beverage for a minor league baseball team. I helped implement a brand-new Micros P.O.S system, creating a better, more efficient ordering process. I redesigned the process of inventory control for all concession supplies, including a more linear ordering system for supplies, equipment, and food. Together, the director and I lowered food costs to 25% for 2012; food costs were 34% in 2011 and over 40% in 2010. This led to us exceeding our revenue goal by 114% in 2012, paying off major offseason expansion costs in first season.

I assisted guests with their travel plans, exploring vacation options, and anything else which led to a greater experience. Additionally, I resolved any guest complaints and strove to exceed every guest's expectations. Furthermore, I received commendation from management for my willingness to accept new tasks, executing them efficiently and with high quality.

I wrote bi-weekly for the sports section for The Lanthorn, Grand Valley State University's campus newspaper. I worked in-tandem with a talented staff of writers, met tight deadlines, functioned as an event photographer, accepted and executed last minute assignments to help meet section requirements, and worked towards perfecting the craft of maximum utilization of both space and word count.Additionally, I was honored in the Sports/News Feature category of the 2010 Michigan Press Association's College Editorial Contest.

I maintained the busy office for the collegiate athletics department.

I led a team of 28 bellmen for a busy summer island resort. Under my leadership, the department received the property's Best Guest Services Award at the end of the season. Additionally, I was personally recognized by ownership for my hard work and undying willingness to go the extra mile.

I operated the company dispatch P.M.S. for Disney's Port Orleans resorts, encompassing a total of 3,094 guest rooms. I assigned luggage deliveries, directed bell staff, greeted guests upon arrival, handled luggage, answered guest calls, and responded to service requests. I was commended by management for my extensive guest relations abilities and for working well in a fast-paced environment.

I oversaw, managed and motivated a group of over 300 first-year students as one of eight staff members. I successfully demonstrated clerical skills while improving inner- and intra-departmental communication. I also delegated and coordinated daily functions of students through efficient and effective communication and time management, enhancing productivity and success, both educationally and personally.

I created, organized, and supervised all hospitality aspects of guest functions, including banquets, parties, and outdoor celebrations.
