• Engineering, advising and implementing the company's business development strategy including but not restricted to active markets and our product offering.• Developing and working with existing and new network of contacts to initiate and propose opportunities for the business. • Responsible for championing business development initiatives for the company including setup and design of specific sales objectives and teams around specific organisational goals. • Involved in high level strategic decision making across various operational areas of the business. • Analysis of economic, market and business climates to help identify and capitalise on new opportunities both within Zambia and across the region.• Managing the entire supply chain from supplier to consumer which includes but is not restricted to costing, forecasting and marketing activities of the entire product range. • Involved in the day to day planning, organising and controlling activities as required to ensure an efficient and effective sales operation is maintained. • Recruiting and managing localised sales teams across the country to achieve targets.• Liaising with international and local suppliers to ensure all products are received timely and at the most cost effective price to maintain our competitive pricing structure.• Liaising with customers to understand their current and future product requirements to ensure they are expectations are met and exceeded.• Liaising with the rest of the business in order to communicate, manage and ensure minimal disruption to product supply and maintain consistency. • Structuring joint venture and trade agreements with suppliers to enable a more diversified and competitively priced product range.
