My first position straight out of J-School was with the Higuchi Biosciences Center, licensing the results of their research and developing corporate partnerships. That led to the creation of KU's first technology transfer position. I maintained that position while helping open the Kansas Innovation Corporation, which was one of KTEC's earliest technology business incubators, now called KU Innovation Park.
