Torn between pursuing engineering or business my senior year of high school, I can remember one of my most important conversations. While discussing future careers with my mom, she asked me what I value in each field. For engineering it was the math, but for business it was a collection of things. I told her I'm fascinated in stocks, data and statistics, leadership, collaboration, and the tech world. She simply responded, "It sounds like I have raised a future business student."From this conversation on, I have not looked back. With pride in my creativity, leadership, and entrepreneurial mindset, I turned my attention to the business world. I have recently decided to focus my studies in Accounting and Information Systems and focused on exploring a career that meshes data analytics and accounting skills.
