The Garment District Neighbourhood Association works to build and promote an attractive, inclusive, safe and sustainable community between the major streets of Spadina Avenue and Bathurst Street, and King Street and Queen Street. The Public Safety & Security Committee has a mandate to address any and all issues within the GDNA that relate to street safety, crime, public intoxication and drug use, vagrancy, and other issues that affect the quiet and safe enjoyment of the residents. It is a strong and passionate voice for the rights of the community and everyone who calls the GDNA home.

Elected to a 3 year term as President of the Condo Corporation for a new build 255-unit luxury condo in downtown Toronto. During the critical post-turnover period from the developer, our key areas of focus will be:1. Tarion warranty period audit with regards to developer deficiencies2. Significant security enhancements3. Establishing prudent fiscal management and re-negotiating all contracts4. Community development5. Communications

Following up my previous role as the local Integration Chair for EO Toronto, my role was to lad the all of the local Integration Chairs across Canada. Nuzzled beneath the CN Tower, in a serene balance of nature, steel and glass, Harbour View Estates is a premier residence with the best of Toronto at its doorstep. TSCC 1694 includes 10 Navy Wharf Court, 9 Spadina Lofts, the Mariner Terrace Town Homes, and a shared recreational facility overlooking the waterfront and Toronto cityscape.I was elected Vice President after a successful year as Treasurer, where I worked closely with the other Board members and Property Management to regain fiscal control of our corporation and balance the books resulting in a 0% condo fee increase. I am currently leading the initiative to renovate the common areas in our building, working with the Board, Management and our Designer/Architect of choice to finalize legal contracts and begin work on the conceptual design.I am still serving as a key member of the Communications Sub-Committee, building out our corporation's new brand, identity, logo and collateral materials, as well as participating in multiple communications projects including newsletter, website, social media, etc.Ongoing initiatives include increasing the customer service, security and overall quality of life in the buildings, as well as looking into Green friendly ideas for better environmental and fiscal health long-term.

The condo fees increased almost 20% the year prior to my running for the board. Once elected, I worked closely with the new and existing Board members, as well as our new Property Management to regain fiscal control of our corporation and balance the books. In April we were pleased to announce no increase to the condo fees for the next year.I lead the initiative to renovate our degrading common areas by forming a Renovation Sub-Committee and participating in interviews and site visits towards the ultimate goal of selecting a Designer/Architect who suited our vision.I served as a key member of the newly formed Communications Sub-Committee and worked towards building a brand and identity for the corporation, as well as participating in the creation of new communications materials.Other initiatives I have participated in include enhancing customer service, security, and overall improvements in the day-to-day lives of our residents.

My primary responsibilities included developing and executing an onboarding and retention process for new and tentured members, and sponsors. During my term I exceeded the revenue goals assigned to me, and created numerous high value partnerships for our Chapter, including MasterCard Canada, CIBC, CFO Centre, Foglers Rubinoff LLP, and Warren Coughlin Coaching. I also laid the foundation for many more future partnerships with both large Fortune 100 brands, as well as boutique companies who fit well with the EO culture. Through Pixelcarve Inc, Curtis was brought onboard Sweda Canada Inc. as a consultant relating to the SwedaMedia digital signage platform. Primary projects included producing interactive training software and video for Cara Foods brands Harvey's and Swiss Chalet, YUM! Brands KFC & Taco Bell, as well as pioneering digital menu board interfaces for Harvey's.

Directed the team responsible for maintaining, upgrading and providing support to the technology and business departments within the school. Job functions included curriculum development, as well as designing and implementing new systems to enhance learning.
