Simon is an entrepreneur who hails from the UK but most of his current business interests are now in the US. He founded Curtis Gabriel, an accomplished social media, design and digital marketing agency which is now part of US based Conversion Interactive Agency. More recently he co-founded Career Driver, a marketing and recruitment company specializing in the passenger ground transportation industry. He has worked with clients in 5 continents and over 40 countries working with companies including Uber, Milwaukee Tools, Vimeo and Hilton.He is experienced in developing effective data driven marketing and business development growth strategies and is passionate about supporting businesses to thrive in their arena. He has a proven track record in sales, partnership collaborations, commercial negotiation, customer acquisition, sponsorship activation, leading large-scale event organization and inspiring those that he works with.In 2020, Simon became part of Hilton’s COVID-19 pandemic response team focusing on leveraging their F&B venues to reignite hotel trade. Around the same time, Simon headed up a project to drive passenger confidence to start using ground transportation services again. The safe taxi and chauffeur charter was adopted in many countries and galvanized operators, vendors, associations and trade media, all working to a common goal and won several awards in the UK.Simon was instrumental in establishing and growing the globally renowned brand Taste of Hilton. This grew arms and legs over the years, with Simon using the Taste of Hilton brand to launch Hilton Honors in f&b in Germany; a Turkey dinner carry out campaign in Turkey; award winning Waitographer initiative in Dubai and Abu Dhabi (then later across the globe); the lowest CPA from any recruitment campaign in the UK in 2023 and an EMEA wide content creation training course to empower f&b staff to produce amazing content from their smart phones.Prior to launching his digital agency, Simon worked with many professional sports clubs in their marketing and commercial departments delivering successful ROI. He used his Masters in Sports Management to create campaigns that really stood out both from a professional and consumer standpoint.Simon currently holds two non-executive directorships and is part of a working group for the Department of International Trade. Simon has always tried to give back and has offered his services pro-bono to many charities in the UK and US.
