After Co-Founding simPRO Software I focussed my efforts operationally on sales of the ERP system and building relationships with customers and wholesalers around Australia.In January 2008 I then became started our operations in WA and replicated what we had built in QLD, NSW and VIC in terms of our go to market strategy, sales, implementation and customer success.

In this exciting role I am lucky enough to work with leading organisations globally to bring our best of breed job management system simPRO Enterprise and work with them as they continue to grow and realise the benefits of field mobility, streamlining their processes and improvements in productivity for their office staff.The role creates really rewarding opportunities to analyse, scope and deliver tailored and bespoke systems for our corporate customers.

Things change, industry, technology, customers even us. As our company has continued to grow so to have the requirements of our customers and industries we service. We have successfully moved our product team to a streamlined machine that implements new features and enhancements to our core platforms every two weeks.This has however given rise to the need to work on long term game changing technologies that will lift both us and our customers to new levels.In 2017 I started another new team in the business, simPRO RAD Lab (Research and Development). We work on blue sky thoughts and idea's that have the potential to create major disruption in the field service and contracting industries as well as the technology industry as a whole. Its my pleasure to work with these talented individuals and with our customers ongoing input and support, bring new idea's to life.

After extensive planning and preparations I have moved into the role of the operations director for our UK business.In this role my responsibility is to spearhead the growth of our UK operations by establishing a team consisting of BDM's, training consultants, support infrastructure and a solid base to work from. The culture of the business globally also needs to be installed into our team in the UK so that we are all singing from the same hymn sheet and having the same experience.Its a very exciting and challenging position to be doing and will see our business put into a position to be able to improve the lives and business of many more people than we have been exposed to up until this point.It is my pleasure to work with, train and build this crew of world class professionals to join the larger global simPRO family.

The role of technical director at simPRO software has a number of different high level roles effectively broken down into Infrastructure, Product Development and Customer Delivery.The first involves the planning, upgrading and maintaining the companies primary IT infrastructure. This has involved a major overhaul of existing system both internally and externally. I manage the deployment and operation of our systems in multiple external data centers (ensuring the maximum level of redundancy and availability) and the internal IT infrastructure.simPRO Software develops and implements their web based ERP system called simPRO. After having worked as a business analyst and software implementation consultant with Acorn Software, I have a unique understanding of the requirements of busy trade and contracting based business from one man bands through to larger corporate entities. As a result I have been in a position to scope, resource and manage the development of a whole new simPRO system to deliver to market. This has involved initially scoping then estimating the project and getting board approval for commencement. Then building and subsequently working closely with the UI/UX team, software development, infrastructure, support and documentation teams as well as working with other key business stakeholders to deliver the project on time and on budget.In technology we also have customer facing aspects where various minor customisations and large scale projects occur to the primary ERP system and I have been involved with many of these projects as well as developing and documenting all of the policies and procedures that go into this team.

In this role I worked with businesses to determine their IT requirements and work with them to build their IT infrastructure consisting of their networking requirements and business systems.Based on my consultations with business I would then find the right software system for them and work with the business to implement, train and manage the roll out of the business system.
