CurrentResponsible for loading and unloading of inbound and outbound modes of transportationResponsible for inspecting and labeling incoming materials and pulling samples as requiredMaintain workplace organization through the execution of 5S quality principles and related practicesAssures the implementation of compliance programs for all federal, state and local regulations covering employee health, safety and the environmentPartner with Logistics Coordinator and Engineering in completing process improvements and to identify optimum operating conditionsEnsure that Management of Change (MOC) procedures are followed in assigned work areaResponsible for issuance of work permits in assigned areaEnsure maintenance work orders are written and followed-up for assigned work areaMaintains, records, and documents appropriate written and electronic operating records and dataSatisfy all Corporate Quality Requirements and ISO9001 Quality Management SystemPractice Responsible Care 14001 through active participation in the Responsible Care Management System and adhere to the Guiding Principles of Responsible Care 14001Actively participates in a culture of continuous improvement through collaborative engagement and by providing suggestions in meetings and trainings to improves processes and systemsInitiates the response to any spills, leaks, and emergency situations within assigned areas.Ensures work is accomplished through defined, measured, and continuously improved work processes; proactively identifies and leverages best practices developed across SI Group.
