I have audited manufacturers, telecommunications companies, oil and gas field services companies, franchisors and franchisees, agricultural companies, etc. I know agricultural very well, the products, the equipment, parts and services, and what they are used for.Even though I was one of 42 South Dakota auditors, I can look back on my accomplishments as an experienced auditor and take pride in the fact that recently, in a four year period my audits have accounted for almost 10% of the Department’s total audit assessments. In fiscal year 2016, my audits have accounted for almost 20% of the Department’s audit assessments.I also created from the ground up for the State of South Dakota, a Use Tax Billing Program. Completed the actual programing and ran the program for many years. This program has and continues to bring in millions in tax revenues that had previously gone uncollected.
