As Chief Operating Officer of ArtsQuest, Curt Mosel oversees a team of 30+ professionals responsible for marketing, merchandise, public relations, ticketing, corporate partnerships, operations, and IT. His leadership supports the nonprofit's arts and cultural programming across the region, including Musikfest, the nation’s largest free music festival, as well as eight other arts and cultural festivals. These events, mostly free to attend, are hosted at venues like the ArtsQuest Center and SteelStacks, an adaptive reuse of Bethlehem Steel’s former plant that has become a vibrant arts and entertainment district, drawing more than 1.8 million visitors annually for over 2,500 programs.Curt earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in business administration from the University of Iowa. He started his career in entertainment with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1994, serving as Senior Ticket Sales Executive and Corporate Sales Manager for both the Timberwolves and the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx. He later worked as Director of Ticket Sales for Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire and led marketing efforts for The Morning Call newspaper before joining ArtsQuest in 2010.With deep experience in sports and entertainment marketing, Curt has successfully developed several high-impact arts and cultural programs for ArtsQuest and the Lehigh Valley region. Among his achievements is the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ SoccerFest & Viewing Party in Bethlehem, which drew over 50,000 attendees to a city of fewer than 75,000 residents. The event, celebrating the global appeal of the World Cup, was recognized as one of the Best New Events of 2014 by the International Festivals and Events Association.
