Coordinate and maintain the citywide employee Accident Prevention Program, including Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Hazard Communication, and all related safety programs and policies to assure compliance with applicable regulations. Selected to deliver instruction as an Adjunct Instructor for the FEMA/Emergency Management Institute. Served as a subject matter expert in the instruction of Emergency Management for Tribal Governments, Hazard Mitigation, and Continuity of Operations (COOP). Provided consultation and aid in the development of various Tribal Government emergency management strategies and programs. Advised the Department of Homeland Security on cultural issues and planning.→ Developed and implemented the Medical Reserve Corps Program for the Whatcom County Health District.
