In addition to running Design by Bailey, a residential design company, I have decided to expand my work experiences to include substitute teaching. I look forward to the opportunity to work with the many great teachers and staff at Moore County Schools.

Lead Project Manager (2002 - 2007): This position afforded me the opportunity to lead projects from conceptual planning and schematic design; collaborating on designs with the firm's partners, through construction administration. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, structural sizing and designing for loads, state and local code research, local zoning research/application, specifications, presenting to architectural review boards and site/field observation. As Lead Project Manager, I met with the firm's partners on a weekly basis; updating them on the status of current projects, including meetings and discussions with both the client and the Job Captain on said projects. Additional Duties: CAD department head @ Stagaard & Chao Architects. My responsibilities included training new employees on the most current platform/CAD operating system, and standard computer standards and techniques. Additionally, I maintained computer hardware and software, architectural libraries, and set the office standards required by the firm; keeping the company up to date on the most current state of the art computer programs required to set our firm above the rest. Job Captain (1999 - 2002): Following a four-year internship, this position required an expertise in project documentation; coordinating with the Senior Project Manager and developing the details required to move a project from Design Development to Construction Documents. Other responsibilities include providing project team coordination for finished plans, specification, and material selections.

Intern Architect / Third Level Professional-in-Training: Organization of projects, layout of sheets, cost estimates, meetings with consultants. Produce work (redline) for draftsmen to hard-line, maintained job files with catalog cuts, review shop drawings and performed construction observation.
