The role of Cut The Plastic is to bring a closed loop consumption process to end users, thereby preventing plastic pollution from entering the environment. By using modern technology to reprocess plastics, we can build rain and spring water infrastructure on the very islands around the world where plastic is burned into the atmosphere or directly enters the ocean. In this way we are developing enhanced infrastructure to eliminate dependencies on single use water while creating jobs, and enabling villages to have sufficient water for drinking and crops. By providing these resources, we close the gap in consumption, impacting health, poverty and long term impacts of global climate change while working to protect the land, fisheries and livelihoods of these villages.

Ean Thomas Tafoya is a 4th generation indigenous community leader who is running for Denver Mayor. Ean has worked in 3 branches of government, participated in the fruition of over a dozen state laws, and has helped shape government at the regional and city level. His leadership has crafted language formulation taking resident concerns to form public policy, local statutes and federal regulations.

Prop 97 - presented by Colorado Rising is designed to implement safer setbacks for new oil and gas wells to be placed away from current and planned community development for the November 2018 ballot.This has been submitted to the Secretary of State.

Prop 97 by Colorado Rising for Public Health and Safety is a proposed ballot measure to require new oil and gas development to be set back 2500 ft ( the evacuation zone from the wellhead in an emergency) from all communities.

As an insurance agent, I built a book of business building relationships with businesses and individuals through a process of examining existing benefit portfolios and providing enhancement through the use of Section 125 Qualified Portfolios and voluntary benefits programs. These enhancements provided cost and tax savings for employers while providing employees with needed financial safety nets. I maintained certification to work with National Accounts to provide uniform benefits platforms that effectively educated employees not only of the availability, but also the effective use of such benefits. Additional aspects of my role within the team environments were to assist in the training of new associates in processes of Account Development and Management, maintain customer service by: tending to claims, assisting clients with procuring correct medical records, and payroll deduction reports. The most fulfilling part of my job was working with orphaned accounts, those that had no longer an active agent they worked with. In rebuilding these relationships, I often had the opportunities to examine the medical histories of those employees that had not used their coverages to the best of their effectiveness.

I was involved in the promotion and receipt of inbound donation items for programs that provided needed resources for a variety of community sustainability programs including the food pantry and Dress for Success Peoria. My work included working with community volunteers for the upkeep of the property and community gardens. Additionally I assisted with a variety of support based programs either working with clients directly or in the back end to help ensure the programs success.
