As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Punch!, my primary responsibility is to facilitate the scheduling of meetings for our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) by identifying and engaging qualified leads. This entails diligently contacting the leads provided to us, and effectively discerning their specific pain points and needs. Subsequently, upon pinpointing these pain points, I initiate the meeting booking process and meticulously compile comprehensive reports for the BDRs' reference. In cases where essential contact details are not readily available, I conduct supplementary research to ensure our outreach is well-informed and targeted. Furthermore, I am tasked with the composition and dissemination of cold emails to engage potential prospects. In tandem with these efforts, I am also entrusted with the crucial task of nurturing warm leads and maintaining ongoing communication with booked clients to ensure their participation in the scheduled meetings. My tenure at Punch! has been invaluable, affording me valuable insights into the realms of sales and effective time management.

At YQ Holdings, I serve as the Group Marketer, responsible for conducting market research to stay current on trends, launching digital surveys, and managing all social media activities, including conceptualizing content, creating visuals, crafting captions, and scheduling posts. Additionally, I am tasked with designing flyers in both physical and digital formats. When YQ Holdings hosts events, I am responsible for the promotion, which includes identifying vendors and other necessary personnel.

At Cape Coaters, I was responsible for providing clients with excellent customer service, including greeting them, helping them with their needs, and directing them to the appropriate personnel. Additionally, I managed the switchboard, answered emails, and conducted cold calls for the company. I also handled the banking, which involved entering sales into a spreadsheet, as well as organizing invoices into an easily accessible filing system. Furthermore, I processed sales through Syspro. Through my and a colleague's hard work, Cape Coaters was able to exceed their budget by R1 000 000. I strongly believe in the power of sales, which involves not just what you say, but how you say it.
