Chris is a partner at Brecher with a broad range of general banking and finance experience acting for a mixture of borrowers, lenders and funds alike. He has a focus on restructuring, Islamic, real estate and acquisition finance and has worked in private practice at magic circle and US firms as well as in-house for a global financial institution.Chris spent 5 years in the Middle East where he acted for a wide range of local and international banks which is where he grew his interest and experience in Islamic Finance.Most recently, Chris has recently worked on a number of conventional and Islamic real estate transactions as well as distressed non-performing real estate loan portfolio sales in Europe for both borrowers and lenders.Chris has contributed to the banking and capital markets bulletin for PLC magazine.Admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of England and Wales - March 2007.
