With over 9 years of experience in cost accounting, I am a dedicated, passionate and skilled professional who strives to provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision making and strategic planning. As a Senior Cost Accountant at Crane Aerospace & Electronics, I work with a cross-functional team to analyze and report on the cost performance of various products and projects, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. I also leverage my expertise in accounting software and various systems to create and maintain databases, queries, and reports that facilitate data analysis and visualization. Previously, I was a Cost Accounting Manager at Contech Engineered Solutions, where I supervised and coached a team of 5-6 cost accountants, and led the training and implementation of a new cost accounting system. I have a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, which have helped me develop strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen interest in human behavior and motivation.
