Guidewire Developer
Current• Participate in Big Room Planning (BRP) sessions to collaboratively plan and align on priorities,dependencies, and objectives with various stakeholders, including product owners, businessanalysts, quality engineers, architects, and business leaders, for upcoming program releases.• Interact with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand business requirementsand translate business requirements into technical requirements.• Develop and implement Guidewire ClaimCenter and ContactManager configurations, includingdata model changes, page configuration files, business rules, and the user interface.• Develop integrations using Guidewire Integration Framework (Gosu, Java, SOAP and RESTweb services, event message queues, etc.) to enable real-time data exchange betweenGuidewire applications and external systems.• Ensure adherence to coding standards, enterprise-wide best practices, and guidelines duringdevelopment.• Conduct code reviews for peer developers, providing constructive feedback on code quality,performance, and maintainability.• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve application defects.• Build and deploy Guidewire applications into various environments (production, pre-production,and non-production) using JetBrains TeamCity and Guidewire Cloud Console (GCC).• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from Postgres and Oracle databases for generating business reports.• Utilize the DataDog monitoring platform to track system performance, application health, andinfrastructure utilization across multiple environments
