This past summer I started an educational consulting and tutoring company to meet the educational needs of local students to assist and support students understanding the subject material. I have experience helping and supporting all types of students including ESL, SPED, academic (on level), advanced, and GT students. As an educational consultant, I can help parents navigate the 504/IEP process along with navigating high school coursework, extracurricular activities, and standardized college admission tests in preparation for college.Long-term, I seek to continue to channel my love of technology, learning, and implementing new technology, and coordinating project events in a contract position as a Project Coordinator, Learning Operations, Learning Management Software (LMS) and/or position in Project Management Office (PMO).As a Program Manager, I established and spearheaded for ten years a 100+ person non-profit program part-time mentoring and preparing high school robotics students in STEM opportunities for college and career along with teaching and tutoring students in math and reading at elementary and middle schools.In addition. I spent over 12 years in the Information Technology field comprised of: 5 years IT Consulting for Cap Gemini plus three years in HR supporting and deploying consultants for them. Also, worked for three years as Systems Analyst at HP (formerly Compaq) and interned at IBM supporting the space program. As a side gig I taught Technology Applications courses at colleges in several states to mentor adult learners. Those experiences led to getting certified and teaching elementary and secondary students.In my spare time, my passion is mentoring a high school robotics team comprised of 120 students and preparing them for college and career in STEM field. This past month as a camp director for our robotics summer camp ensured customer satisfaction of the parents and the campers raising over $19,000 for the robotics team.
