I am a board-certified diagnostic medical physicist, working closely with technologists, radiologists, radiological engineers, and other medical physicists to improve in medical imaging at multiple facilities. This is carried out through physics surveys of imaging equipment, prudent management of patient and occupational dose, reviewing the quality of clinical images, and providing advice on federal and state regulations pertaining to radiation dosage.I completed my residency training in clinical imaging physics at West Physics Consulting. In my residency, I received extensive training on performing physics surveys across all modalities and numerous scanner manufacturers, providing advice on radiation regulations, and performing dose studies for client hospitals.As a Ph.D student in Prof. Maryellen Giger's lab at the University of Chicago, I focused on quantitative image analysis of stroke, particularly in identifying patients who respond poorly to treatment. In my graduate studies, I became experienced in writing and submitting successful research grants, excelled at breaking down and understanding interdisciplinary content, and was able to reach and justify independent conclusions.
