I utilized my working knowledge of ports and marine terminals to take this startup company from just a thought to creating a brand that is recognized in the solar logistics world. Working with complex and strict project requirements per import vessel, I was able to create processes and methodologies that was adopted by all forms of labor organizations across the country (Non-Union, ILA, and ILWU) to create a network of ports, terminals, and warehouses across the country that achieved over a 99% success rate for deliveries across 10,000+ truck opportunities in the first 12 months. 1) Network and Supply Chain RelationsEstablished working relationships across the country to properly facilitate truck loadings in accordance to strict delivery schedules and complex, unorthodox import requirements. I took the most complex requirements and created work flows and processes for even the strictest labor organizations to properly ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The results of this saw 99% success rates in accuracy and on time deliveries of the customers' materials to their project site.2) Business Development and P&L ManagementThrough rugged grass roots efforts I was able to onboard three major customers that contributed to EBITDA of 27% across $28M in sales in the first 12 months of operation. I did this through effective vendor negotiations, managing labor and discretionary expenses, and with acute focus on the P&L. 3) Contract Review I successfully reviewed countless contracts from customers and vendors to create mutually beneficial terms and conditions of contracts. In doing this, I was able to successfully mitigate an estimated $2.8M or more in risks to the company. 4) Commercial Real EstateI was able to successfully locate prime real estate for our transloading operations that immediately created value-added services to the Company. I was able to successfully negotiate pricing for this property which created an immediate $800,000.00 in equity.

Within his role at Texas Terminals, Cameron is responsible for performing analytical duties and providing support related to the port agency, stevedoring and annual financial budget, including monthly forecast.Furthermore, Cameron assists in conducting review and gap analysis regarding actual expenses compared with the financial plan; utilizing tracking tools as needed, ensures reports and analysis are delivered and maintained in a standard, timely, accurate and organized manner, analyzes results of data extractions; summarizing and presenting analytical findings. In addition, he actively leads special projects and other assignments; along with providing support and working closely with key departments or divisions. He ensures that accounting data, system processes, internal control procedures, invoicing, auditing and compliance guidelines meet standards and business goals. Recently, Cameron’s responsibility has been further added to vendor management activities such as vendor reduction and establishment of supply-chains with current and potential vendors.Noteworthy achievements of this role include: Removed system errors through implementation of operating system designed to keep track of all cargo ships as well as contributed to reduction in overtime expenditure for stevedoring operations. Progressively led labor management systems and minimized labor costs.Reduced costs for vendor services to provide catering services for mandatory meetings and reduced lease price for time clocks by 30% percent, per month resulting in new technology. Negotiated third-party contracts that enabled immediate savings on various pieces of equipment necessary for operations. Prepared labor forecasts for fiscal year 2016 resulting in reduction of labor expense.
