Mr. Williams has over 30 years of experience in domestic and international business with a proven track record and history of accomplishments in engineering, telecommunications, sales, business development, marketing and education & training. As an innovative leader, coach and mentor, he is adept at building teams with the ability to think creatively and manage profitable organizations. In 2008, Mr. Williams was recruited for public service to serve as a Presidential Appointee to head the General Services Administration under President Bush. After several interviews and meetings at the White House, where he was vetted and approved for senate review and confirmation, Mr. Williams withdrew from consideration and postponed public service to continue operating his business ventures.Prior to Covenant Learning Solutions, Mr. Williams served as Chief Executive Officer of Intekras where he led the company through rapid growth from formation in 2004 with revenues of $150,000 to a solid backlog of government contracts worth over $27 million in just under five years. Mr. Williams guided Intekras in its first year of eligibility to being selected in 2009 to the Washington Technology Fast 50 ranking of the fastest growing small business government contractors topping the list at #8. In addition, Mr. Williams led Intekras to selection on the prestigious Inc 500|5000 in 2009 as one of the fastest growing companies in America reaching # 2104 and was named to the Inc 500|5000 for a second consecutive year reaching # 1616 in 2010.Mr. Williams has held various Vice President and Executive level positions in sales, business development, marketing, training and engineering with Lockheed Martin, Global One, Sprint International, Raytheon, L-3 Link Simulation and Training and other leading U.S. Federal Government technology contractors. In addition, Mr. Williams has direct hands on experience with design, integration, testing and implementation of defense systems (C4ISR, Ship Systems, Flight Simulation Systems and UAV’s) for Navy, Air Force and U.S Coast Guard programs.His background includes extensive international experience in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Africa where he helped launch several joint venture telecom companies and partnerships in London, France, Germany, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, India, and South Africa.
