As part of the R/GA Connected Devices Accelerator powered by Techstars, QoL Devices is a mobile health company solving the need of improving respiratory health, whether in patients looking to improve their condition from a chronic illness or in athletes looking for improved performance. The team has developed Alvio, a breathing trainer that is simply a game controller. By playing engaging games on an iPad, users can improve their lung function and seamlessly track their progress over time. Corey offers (1) product development expertise, (2) regulatory direction, and (3) fundraising resources as the company navigates this next phase of growth and expansion developing a new connected medical device. Corey was chosen from the team to give the company pitch at Demo Day presentations at SXSW in Austin, TX and in New York City, speaking on both occasions to a room full of more than 400 investors.

Drafted annual budgets and presented them to association membership for review and approval. San Diego Medical Device Group was formed by a number of medical device leaders from various functional roles and companies in order to foster growth within the community. Initially, the group started with monthly open happy-hour meetings for networking and evolved to hosting monthly meetings with scheduled presentations by local experts.

Launched new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system to streamline warehouse operations and improve inventory accuracy.
