A gourmet chef by trade and Python expert by profession, I have over 10 years of full-stack development expertise. I enjoy the time in classroom immensely while doing work in the following areas:- Help students getting acquainted with new coding and deployment concepts- Start to introduce Python, Django, Docker and deploy code on Digitalocean and Gitlab using our course material

At Tom Capital AG I worked on their forecasting system for the financial instruments that they use for trading in the Tom Capital Fund. I was able to accompany the development process of a forecasting IT system from scratch. This was a completely different environment to a Web Agency and I was able to:- Focus on one single system and implement code to perfection- Management and processing of large amounts of data- Optimise processes to improve performance (very relevant for my current role at Propulsion Academy – helping Data-Science students on their projects)

I founded the company Gourmendo as a startup with two friends. The goal was to introduce the digital menu card to Switzerland’s gastronomy. This was a dream of mine as I always wanted to combine my passion for good food with technology.The idea was conceived during my apprenticeship when I learned about organisational problems in a large company. Ordering System Software could facilitate the interaction between service and the kitchen. It could be easily operated on an iPad or smartphone.- I created the whole IT infrastructure for the Company- Carried out the implementation of business logic and the Website- Complete Development of business organisation software

It was my first insight into the busy life of a developer / project manager in a web agency. After several years of self-tuition, working with Macintosh Computers, Python and Django to make web apps, I was unable to find an apprenticeship as a software developer that matched my aspirations and skills. Therefore I started an apprenticeship at Hotel Seerose in Meisterschwanden to become a qualified chef (my second passion). During my apprenticeship I continued coding and got involved in multiple projects, including the envisioned startup company Gourmendo.
