Cathy currently serves Lifeline Children's Services at the State Director of Engagement in South Carolina. In her role, she has the opportunity to meet with churches and pastors, families, and community partners and see how we can serve alongside them in the ministry of orphan care. Her very favorite part about working at Lifeline is when a family hears the calls and nudges of the Holy Spirit and in obedience says “YES!”. For her, seeing a family walk in obedience to the Lord is amazing!Cathy has also served in a variety of areas within John Maxwell organizations for the past thirteen years. She is currently responsible for Technology at The John Maxwell Company. Past responsibilities with the John Maxwell family of companies include website and content development, ecommerce solutions & sales, technology coordination, sales management, software development, human resources, accounting, and event operations.She has a knack for connecting teams with innovative systems to make things happen. She has a passion for teams and leadership development that has been fueled by her 14 years serving in John's organizations.Prior to joining the John Maxwell group of companies, Cathy worked in the financial services industry as an accountant for Donaldson & Co., a division of Knight Equity Markets. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University on a music scholarship for flute performance and then went on to earn her master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organization and Operations Management.Cathy grew up in a military family so she has moved around a good bit, most recently from Atlanta to Charleston. She received a Bachelor’s in Music and Economics from Vanderbilt, and a MBA from Georgia State. Cathy has been married to her high school sweetheart for 15 years. They have 3 children, and usually a few more through foster care. She is a triathlete and (slow!) runner, and just recently just finished her first half Ironman. She runs a local support group for parents raising gluten free children, especially those with celiac disease. She loves pizza and traveling to Disney, the Ritz Reynolds Plantation, and the Restoration in Downtown Charleston.
