A professional, confident and reliable engineer, with experience in most aspects of electronics, networks, systems, servers, operations, telecom, troubleshooting, product design, product management, sales, etc. Strengths include: software development, custom applications, operations, messaging (email, voicemail, fax, unified messaging, etc.) and customer relations. As a technologist, I believe it is best to be up-to-date on all technologies and to be constantly learning. From Avaya to a Raspberry Pi... or 3D printing to home automation... if you are not aware of the current market, you will not make it in this industry. I typically focus 80% of my professional efforts towards technology... and try to dedicate 20% of my efforts towards being an artisan. Whether it be woodworking, bread making, engineering, designing, inventing... or going out into the woods to mill boards out of a fallen tree... keeping in touch with the basic elements is an important part of my professional mission. On a personal level, I strive to maintain a solid balance between my personal / family life and my professional life. My family is always first... but my passions (which include pretty much all of my professional skills, plus music) are a very close second... so I keep a close check on whether I am neglecting one vs. the other. I fail quite often, but quickly realize it and correct it. It's this balance that keeps me in check at all times.I do work with the most amazing peers in all of these industries. At NJPMG, I work with, and lead, the best teams of experts, from tree, landscape, hardscape, project management... all the way down to the teams driving the mowers. Within RFCA, I am able to work with, and learn from, some of the most brilliant minds in the world... and together we are able to help millions of people in need every day. Need I say... I am blessed.
