During the event I was the “go-to” guy. I worked closely with each section leader, assisting them with the setup and placement of each restaurant participant as they arrived, checking that all the needed supplies were available for each participant, and ensuring the entertainment area was ready and running as scheduled. I also monitored all of our volunteers and workers to maintain a smoothly working event.After the event I assisted in the event evaluation and the creation of an event handbook to help focus the band on efforts for a successful annual event. I was complimented by several of the band parents for having run the event in such an efficient manner, and for the $20,000 that was raised as a result of the event. The marketing professor whose class I worked with can attest to how well I worked with her class to create a successful outcome for both KSU and the high school band.
