My role is Vice President for HashiCorp Australia and New Zealand leading sales and owning all aspects of our go to market. With a focus on consistent growth and providing structure and strategy to a go to market plan, executing on that plan and delivering results. Building the team, hiring the right people and engaging directly with large customers as well as building a partner aligned land business ensuring successful customer deployments and growing year over year ARR. At HashiCorp the ANZ business continues to see significant growth, in 2023 I was named global sales leader of the year after delivering the highest growth percentage and attainment globally.

Leading Sales & Go to Market for VMware's Networking Security business, as well as owning the Hybrid Cloud and Velocloud Business Unit with a direct sales team and channel based business model. In this time we closed one of the largest Velocloud deals globally as well as built a go to market business around SASE and Zero Trust while continuing to scale the hybrid cloud/VCF business. In this role I continued to be a key contributor on the local ANZ Senior Leadership team owning customer executive relationships as well as being the executive sponsor with some of our largest partners. I also participated in some of our key DI&E initiatives and was part of our executive hiring panel.

Owning the go to market, strategy and sales leadership for VMware’s Hybrid Cloud (Software Defined Datacentre) solutions for Australia and New Zealand encompassing Storage, Cloud Management, Multi cloud, Networking, Security, Cloud Native Applications and SDWan.My main responsibility is the sales leadership and execution of VMware’s fastest growing products, managing a multi product sales forecast, engaging at an executive level with customers and partners, managing a multi level sales organisation of 20 sales reps with 2 leaders.

Singapore

VMware vSAN is the industry-leading software powering Hyper-Converged Infrastructure solutions.In this role I was hired to set up and build the storage business for APJ, I was then responsible for both building and running the sales and go-to-market for VMware's portfolio of HyperConverged software defined Storage for Asia Pacific and Japan including Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing and Channel.In this role we delivered over 150% growth quarter on quarter I also hired out the APJ organisation starting with 8 people and growing to 45 across all of Asia Pacific. I left this role as part of a planned move back to Australia.

Singapore

My role at Pure was to manage the Regional Strategic Enterprise sales team, consisting of high calibre sales and pre-sales people, working across our largest customers and prospects across Asia Pacific and Japan.I was one of the first on the ground in APJ and helped shape and grow the business in the region. Also was a major contributor to the global accounts program, winning some key globals from APJ including a major investment bank, a global insurance company and a global mining organisation. We built a highly successful program and built a unique model where we were able to outflank our competition with relatively few resources.I also built an APJ wide team that were responsibile for 90 accounts including both outbound and inbound globals across finance, mining, manufacturing and services.

Hong Kong

Managing the Asia Pacific Globals and Hong Kong businesses for EMC's "BRS"​, the companies largest specialist division with a focus on information protection through delivering world class backup and recovery solutions.Responsibilities included managing a team of global account managers across Asia, with a focus on creating incremental sales revenue and strategic initiatives. I was also responsible for building out executive relationships within our major accounts as well as forecasting, strategic planning, talent management, talent development and sourcing.Our globals program includes our largest global financial and non-financial customers operating across Asia's diverse geography as well our largest service provider customers.In this role I rebuilt the team hiring new talent into the business and reviving the internal team dynamic, as a result we delivered strongly ahead of plan and delivered considerable growth. In this role I was based in Hong Kong and also had responsibility for the local team and the local business and continued as the Hong Kong country manager maintaining my former responsibilities.

Hong Kong

Managing a team including sales and pre-sales of the backup recovery devision of EMC in Hong Kong. Responsibilities include delivering on a territory plan for Hong Kong, across globals and local enterprise as well as building and managing a team of sales executives. My role also includes executive coverage and management of key deals.In this role the team and I quadrupled the revenue in Hong Kong and transformed the Hong Kong business to the highest performing region in Greater China.

EMC are the market leader in Enterprise Storage who have dominated the Enterprise market. Over the years they have grown their expertise to include Security, Backup and are the major owners of VMWare. EMC employ over 30,000 people world wide and over a 1000 in Australia New Zealand.Focused on Backup and Recovery I have worked for the last 5 years as a sales specialist in the Backup and Recovery business focusing on Enterprise and Qld State Government. My major responsibility has been to help build and manage the business in the North including running sales campaigns, building an annual business plan and managing both direct deals and through our various channels. For the last two years in this role I have acted as team leader in the north assisting in developing and mentoring the NSW sales team while running major campaigns.

Enstor are a leading systems integrator in the Storage and Backup arena traditionally selling to mid tier corporates and selling a services lead approach bringing technologies together for its partner vendors.As a senior account manager at Enstor my major responsibility was the development of new business from cold calling to opportunity development. I was brought in to create and develop their enterprise customer base. My key achievements here were.Winning major account Telstra, including winning virtualization tender Brought in numerous new accounts Created a major services contracts with enterprise customers including a million dollar 3 year contract at Telstra Built a reseller influence model with our major partnersSetting up the Melbourne office including a 12 month secondment and the recruitment and training of the sales office Major Deals Won supply of VMware Virtual infrastructure software along with associated services into large Australian Telco contract value 1 in software and infrastructure and a 1 million AUD in servicesWon a 3million AUD deal into major large Web provider Won enterprise services deals at large Australian Banks

Newbury, England

HPS (Hardware Planning Services) are a niche datacenter services company based in the Thames Valley near London in England. They specialize in everything from Data Centre Cabling and Last mile fibre installations through to more complex SAN (storage area network) planning and design services as well as the supply of niche specialized components to deliver those designs.I started at HPS in their newly formed components division selling host bus adapters and cables and then moved on to the "solution group" selling complex solutions. My key achievements here were;Winning sole supply contract to Deutche Bank worth 2 Million GBPWinning backup supply tender to Hutchison 3Winning Backup SAN design business at Barclays Capital and Abbey National
