I am a dedicated and versatile research engineer with over a decade of professional experience in media technology at the BBC. I am a specialist in spatial audio, with a PhD from the Audio Lab at the University of York. Between 2017 and 2021 I led a team in BBC Research & Development working on immersive and interactive audio. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of creativity and communication with new technology, and love being the bridge between cutting-edge academic research and creative practice. I am an experienced team leader who is passionate about helping others to develop, building an inclusive and enjoyable culture, and fostering innovation. Most of all I enjoy learning and discovering new ideas, especially through collaboration with others.
