3D Production ArtistWaterford Institute 2001 - 2007Salt Lake City, Utah, Us• Media Director of several educational songs. • Responsible for compositing, color correction, lighting, rendering, rigging and modeling.• Created an automated rigging script to speed up rig creation. Rigs used IK/FK blending, stretchy arms and legs, full facial controls and easy transition between quad and bi pedal characters. • Helped develop a bird rig which would allow animators to treat feathers like fingers without having to manipulate dozens of feathers.• Designed a lighting system which could be used to adjust look and feel of the characters based on location and time of day for each scene.• Instructed artists in how to use After Effects 3D layers as well as camera tracking abilities.• Involved in designing the look and feel of the Central Park project. • Modeled and textured several environments to mimic locations found in Central Park.• Worked with designers to ensure thematic elements of games met with outlined educational goals.Software Utilized: Maya, After Effects, Mental Ray, Photoshop, MEL
