I feel called to help businesses use energy more efficiently. I love that through this work, I can do my part to help mitigate climate change. I love that this is a business of win-win-wins.I’m a communicator. Energy efficiency depends on sound science done by people who are driven to find the right answer. Implementation of that right answer depends on actions taken by stubborn humans. Communication is the bridge that gives the science impact on society.Learning and sharing new information motivates me. I don’t want to learn for the sake of learning. I want the things I learn to help other people.I love both public speaking and meeting new people. (I know, I’m weird). I’m at my best when I’m working with people to find solutions to complex problems.I find business to be a lot of fun. Profit, when it aligns with our values, is a great motivator. We all do better when we can find business strategies that accomplish socially desirable outcomes. Energy efficiency is a great example.
