As hiring slowed, I became a jack-of-all-trades by working as a Project Manager/Scrum Master for a key development team. Unfortunately, COVID arrived and forced a layoff, but I found my next opportunity at imaware™. Working as a Service Delivery Manager/Program Manager for major COVID testing programs for numerous clients, our growth during the pandemic opened the opportunity for me to move back into Talent Acquisition. After hitting hiring goals there, I knew it was time for my next mission-driven startup at Literati, where I was unfortunately part of another layoff after only a few months. After a year of contracts and part-time work, I found my next fulltime role as a TA Specialist at Breakthru Beverage Group.Who I am personally...In a word: passionate. I value my relationships, both personally and professionally, going to great lengths to build the trust needed to foster the genuine connections that make life worthwhile! I'm also an avid sports follower, where my "passion" is perceived more as true "fanaticism." I follow nearly every major sport with a favorite team in each, including American football (Chargers), baseball (Dodgers), basketball (Lakers), hockey (Kings), and my favorite sport, REAL football a.k.a. soccer (LA Galaxy in the MLS, Chelsea in England and Europe, and USA or Germany internationally). I also love music, mostly alternative and classic rock, with The Rolling Stones being my favorite band of all time, but also love The Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys as more modern bands. I love to read, play board/video games, and actively follow topics and events in politics, history and philosophy (my subjects at UC San Diego).
