Managing deep, complex customer relationships with Google's largest advertising clients in the financial services space (lead aggregators, insurance companies, credit card companies, crypto, etc.). Leading large scale agreements ($XXXM) and joint business plans from inception to activation & measurement. Impacted a $XB+ vertical at Google by leading a specialized business unit in charge of creating frictionless user experiences on mobile devices.

Was responsible for investing Google’s resources into new high growth potential advertisers.Built partnerships with major cryptocurrency exchange in this role to develop and execute their marketing plans on Google. Guided the crypto industry working with Google at the time during the ICO / Bitcoin boom and then again after Google developed new policy to guide the cryptocurrency space.Was focused exclusively on building partnerships with and investing strategic resources into advertisers who were not yet leveraging Google Ads and also had the potential to be Google’s next largest clients.Less than 15% of new partnerships that were rigorously evaluated per quarter based on company business model / business metrics / market potential / among other opportunity metrics were selected for strategic support. In addition to this, led thought leadership events for our C-level partners who were seeking to understand how Google approaches digital marketing.

(Acquired for $500MM in 2014 by Telstra )Worked with with media companies to help them create their own over-the-top (OTT) online video streaming service using Ooyala software (akin to a Netflix style offering).During my time, Ooyala grew from 150 employees to 600, the company was bought by Telstra for $500MM, and then Ooyala went on to purchase two other companies.
