I have experience in the field of cybersecurity and Information Technology, including roles such as System Analyst, Data Center Technician, Information System Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, Information Systems Technician, and Cybersecurity Analyst.In my various roles, I have performed tasks such as troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing employee mobile devices, to obtaining and maintaining Authority To Operate (ATO).I have explored the Risk management Framework (RMF) in accordance with guidance from the NIST sp 800 series.I have been instrumental in creating Cybersecurity programs for a Department of Defence contractor as well as for the Department of Energy Nuclear Waste Clean-Up efforts.I have used various tools such as ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP Compliance Checks, Vulnerability scans, and appropriate remediations to provide a continued and more robust Security Posture across several different environments. In addition to my technical training, I have also created Cybersecurity Training programs and a Cybersecurity Trusted Product Guide (a thousand-foot overview of company best practices in regard to information security). I have been assigned employees/coworkers to shadow me and have been a mentor to several coworkers, both new and existing. At this point, I continue to learn new skills and technologies and have been certified in Web 3.0 and Smart Contracts in addition to the possibilities of Blockchain usage in Cybersecurity. I am additionally pursuing certifications in Cloud Technologies.
