An engineer by training in college, I’ve always been driven to learn how complicated systems work behind the scenes, and to help others navigate the complexities of those systems.As a key technical participant in numerous software development projects, I've gained valuable experience through the entire lifecycle: requirements analysis, use case definition, database design, report development, developer team / product management, release management, QA, and smoothly liaising between end-user, executive and technical audiences.As the senior administrator of a software company's entire IT infrastructure, my experience particularly with Microsoft technologies runs the full gamut: setup & maintenance of physical and virtual Windows servers; administration of Windows desktop and server OS, Hyper-V virtualization, SQL Server OLTP and OLAP databases, Exchange and O365 E-Mail, IIS Web Services, and MSMQ; configuration of Oracle and Azure cloud infrastructure, security and networking; and troubleshooting of complex application & database performance issues.An avid lifelong learner, I also have many side interests: geo-spatial technology, mathematics, physics, and generally all things related to science, music or food.
