Rob Boyd has been making short films and writing scripts since his teenage years. After studying film and animation at Art College, he set up a production company, producing numerous live-action TV commercials and music videos. In the early nineties Rob decided to specialise in animation, one of his first loves. Rob made two stop-motion short films and then formed a boutique animation studio - cycho, which produces claymation, stop-motion, mixed-media and 3D computer animation. Under Rob’s direction, cycho have created numerous animated and live action television commercials, multi-media projects and short films, in Australia and overseas. cycho clients include the Red Cross, Fox Studios, McDonalds, Pepsi, Roche and many others. cycho maintains a large, well-equipped film studio in Sydney.
