Responsible for all on-boarding, management, training, assessment, and technical support to our team of NYC DOE high school teachers across multiple sites in the implementation of of the Cycling Smarts program, a cycling-based youth development program, serving over 100 students annually through partnerships with low income public high schools in NYC.Increased program fidelity across existing and new partners through redeveloping program curriculum and training, providing each independent program the tools to reach the same outcomes.Created new college-access summer program called the College Bike Tour: a 7-day, 400-mile ride to 7 different colleges in New York State. Program includes visits and overnight stays at Syracuse University, Cornell University, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Oneonta, SUNY Cobleskill, Bard College, and West Point Military Academy. Built new bike fleet and supply inventory systems to track, store, and maintain a fleet of over 100 bikes (including helmets, jerseys, tools, bottles, etc), housed at 5 different NYC public school campuses.Created new pathways for program support through recruiting and training a base of 100 volunteers and 2 Americorps staff annually participating in cycling training, career and college readiness, and event committees.Improved social-emotional learning outcomes through developing the Active Design unit, a project-based learning program where-in each program site creates a service-learning project to help make their schools more active environments.Directed the annual I Challenge Myself Century Ride, a 100-mile 1-day ride for 75-100 students, supported by a staff team of 20, a volunteer team of 50, delivering an event across 3 counties with 5 rest-stops and 5 support vehicles.Supported the design and development of our Salesforce platform to increase data collection, analyzation, and reporting efficiency for student outcomes, staff performance, and volunteer participation.

Created and lead a 6-week summer bike program for Union Settlement Association in East Harlem through a $10,000 grant, offering 15 high school students the opportunity to earn a brand new by bike completing long-distance bike rides throughout NYC.Ensured safety for students and liability for the greater organization through partnering the Recycle-A-Bicycle to develop adequate intake and emergency protocol.Partnered with the Princeton University Bike Coop to provide bike maintenance and mechanics workshops , and the NYC DOT to provide bike and helmet safety workshops.Developed all recruitment, curriculum, evaluation, and media items for the project.Check out the great photos: https://www.facebook.com/LIFELANEPROJECT/
