I played a pivotal role in improving the deployment process for the next generation product offering. Through my efforts, I was able to drastically decrease the amount of time it took to deploy a feature from weeks to mere hours. As a result of these process changes, the number of customer-reported bugs decreased by 50%. I began at ETW working on their SaaS product offering, and quickly became a resource for some ofthe parent company’s internal projects as well. I grew into a role where I improved the softwaredevelopment workflow for the team with an accompanying management workflow to facilitate it.Through this transition I learned how to administer our Atlassian toolset (Jira, Stash, BitBucket,Bamboo/Jenkins), while simultaneously managing the team’s workload and developing new productfeatures. I learned how to lead and organize a team of eight to reduce our lengthy deploymentprocess.

As a UI Developer, I was responsible for taking charge of multiple projects from concept to creation and providing excellent customer support. Here I drew from my prior five years of experience as a freelance developer working with individual companies. I primarily focused on web-based projects that integrated with NetSuite’s provided services for both business and customer-facing needs. During my time there, I developed custom modular implementations for product search, location maps, and product blueprints using HTML maps.
