- Drove drastic improvements in the school’s academic impact: the Middle School student proficiency in math increased from an average of 43% in the last 4 years to 77% in the 2022-23 year, the highest results in the history of DREAM and above the NY State average proficiency of 49%. This was done through the creation of a brand new curriculum for DREAM with more than 500 customized middle school math lesson plans based on the Illustrative Math curriculum.- Designed Common Core standards-aligned unit assessments, interim assessments and weekly quizzes to foster a data driven instruction mindset. - Led the Math Department composed of 10 teachers from grades 6 to 8 and impacting 390 students.
