Energy And Water TeamUva Office For Sustainability May 2019 - Aug 2021On the Energy and Water team, I developed ideas for events, projects, and programs for better sustainability of UVA’s energy and water systems. This included organizing both the Renewable Energy Expo and the Dorm Energy Race. The Renewable Energy Expo is an event bringing together student groups, research teams, and local businesses and beyond to showcase their work in the field of renewable energy. The Dorm Energy Race educates and empowers lowerclassmen to largely reduce their energy consumption through feasible behavioral changes, establishing these habits for years to come. I was also the designated director of the student partnership between William & Mary and UVA to achieve our joint 2030 carbon neutrality goal, and was highly involved in cross-university discussions of a large body of stakeholders. Additionally, I helped to create and am featured in the WahooWater video series depicting where UVA sources its water from. -
