Skyrise is a Vex robotics games where challengers have to transfer objects from one side of the mat to the other side. The objective of the project was to design and build a robot that can stack multiple cone on top of each other. Our constraint for the project was the budget of $300 and a time frame of 3 weeks, Due to the limited budget, our robot was largely consist of 3mm MDF. The task I was designated in designing was the claw in which it will grab the cone, swing it 180 degrees and rotating it at the same time.

The objective of the project was to design a versatile robot where it can travel in different types of terrains.This will allow the robot to perform rescue mission and seek out survivors, inspect the inner walls of pipes for cracks and corrosion, and even for stealth mission to gain intelligence. My robot is based on a modular design. Each module contains its own servo motor, a fixed mounting body, and a moving joint. The characteristics on how the modular unit moves and depending on how the each module is mounted together.
