KnostOver the last five years, I have worked with children and teenagers in multiple different capacities. I have worked in homes, schools, and in the community, empowering children with mental health disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have planned and supervised art activities for elementary, middle, and high school-aged clients and I provide positive behavioral support through the use of ABA and CBT principles. I also work with children toward developing effective communication skills and coping skills, as well as improving their problem solving capabilities. In August 2018, I completed my Master’s of Social Work and I continue to work on a Post-Master’s Certificate in Art Therapy. Ultimately, however, my goal remains the same — to collaborate and provide positive support to to all children, and adults, so that they can find their “calm.”
