In 2009 I was a silver Medalist at the English Schools Championships I studied Sports Science at Middlesex University, specialising in Strength and Conditioning, on their scholarship program. At the time I was ranked 11th in the country over 100m in my age group and was training 6 days a week 5 hours a day as a full time athlete.My biggest achievement in athletics was representing England in 2013, and winning Gold at the Vienna Indoor Classic Competition in Austria. Shortly after winning this competition I obtained a groin injury where I had to have an operation, and my performances where never really the same. I went on to study Sports massage to compliment my degree and I took to physical therapy, rehabilitating athletes at my Local club. Whilst being an athlete I was often disappointed with the application of the treatment given to me from other therapist in the field. I would often leave a therapy session feeling exactly the same way as when I walked in. I felt that although therapist had great knowledge of my body and what it was going through, they lacked experience in what I was actually feeling as they had never run at an international level. From this I made sure that all of my clients got the best treatment possible because of my knowledge and personal experiences as most niggles and injuries I was given to treat I had been through it myself.
