I was tasked with both the physical and electrical design of substations for renewable energy facilities. To accomplish this, I created schematics, carried out studies, and performed calculations to meet IEEE, NEC, and NESC standards. I also instituted electrical relaying logic to create in-depth communication and protection schemes. I collaborated with both engineers and drafters to ensure that my work was finished swiftly and efficiently.

At Arup, I designed electrical building plans, created circuits for electrical panels, and gave technical presentations using Revit, BIM, and the National Electrical Code to produce architectural campus drawings. I spent time reviewing past Arup designs and interviewing project leads in order to give a 12-minute presentation to the company about the project's details and learning opportunities.

I worked closely with both graduate students and professors to create a 3D graph visualization tool that would wrap 2D graphs onto 3D objects. To accomplish this, I studied C++, OpenGL, and UI creation. I also gave weekly presentations on my progress to the team and ended the internship with a long-form Q&A session and presentation for all of my peers.
