I chose my passion over profession, to help you transform your life.This is how it happened:I had spent 15 years searching for the magic bullet… I wanted it badly. If Rocky Balboa could build that physique, I should've been able to too. I tried everything. An array of personal trainers, programs I found online, CrossFit, bootcamps… I tried the Slow Carb Diet by Tim Ferriss, Intermittent Fasting, the Ketogenic Diet, Carb Backloading, Carb Cycling….everything. And yes, it would be a lie to say none of these endeavours provided me with any benefit. I learnt a hell of a lot, made incremental improvements…but I was nowhere near what I knew was possible. As I progressed through a demanding career in banking, I eventually succumbed to the pressures of corporate life and became overweight and unhealthy for the first time. Into my 30s, I set myself a challenge. To compete in a physique show, and hired an online coach who specialised in contest preparation. While the result was aesthetically impressive, the experience was anything but healthy. Multiple bouts of cardio, highly restrictive eating, unnecessary training stress on the body – all resulting in exhaustion and hormonal imbalances that took several months to recover from. How could a “fit-looking body” be so unhealthy? I learnt an important lesson about not wanting to sacrifice health in order to look better. I became obsessed with finding a way to be able to do both for myself and my clients. I finally struck gold, but not the quick fix you might think. I discovered the scientific approach to fitness, nutrition and health. A structured approach to systematically get there. An approach that eliminates all the confusion and guesswork. The result is a sustainable approach to fitness, where hunger is manageable, and training methods drive not just aesthetics, but a functionally useful, healthy and athletic physique. In the ultimate test of my methods, I went on to become the Hercules Olympia Male Model UK Champion, at the ripe old age of 38.
