Management: Leadership of Client Support Managers responsible for implementation of software installation or SAS arrangements and QA staff responsible for software release testing and validation of software functionality issues. Focus on employee growth opportunities and mentoring by working side-by-side with staff, acknowledging deficiencies in the workflow process and implementing improvements.Complete Software Life Cycle: Determine industry need and create prototype software product(s). Act as liaison between Marketing, Development, and Operations to ensure projects are defined and executed with efficiency. Work with Development to design final products. CSO Liaison – Primary contact for clarification/interpretation of plan benefit, regulatory compliance, and resolution of associated operational issues. Involved in operations relocation due to health plan acquisition.Regulatory Compliance - Development and implementation of policies, procedures and operations processes as they apply to Regulatory Compliance and roll-up of new health care products. Plan contact for North Carolina Department of Insurance. Maintain Federal and State legislative rulings and Corporate policy/procedure changes in all plan documents and communicate/enforce to service center operations. Policy development to maintain or achieve compliance under URAC. Oversight of Non-HEDIS annual submission. Work with Corporate Legal Firm on all State Filings. Coordinated member and provider appeal process according to State mandated guidelines.

Provider Services – Negotiation of physician contracts for IPA on behalf of 12 health plans. Initial and ongoing education and support to physician network on 400 providers and staff of 900. Maintain physician membership reports, participation status, disbursement of capitation payments, facility and medical record reviews, recognizing and reporting non-compliance issues according to NCQA, PHA, or Health Plan guidelines.Worked directly with physicians on multiple projects from coordinating in-house educational seminars to initial interviewing of ancillary providers for employment.

Develop allergy testing and treatment program with physician oversight. Assist with in-office and outpatient surgical procedures. Follow-up with pediatric and adult patients post-surgical procedures. Schedule surgeries and attain authorizations.
