Administer emergency aid to patient(s) in various pre-hospital settings. Including, but not limited to maintaining patent airways, control of bleeding, treatment of shock, necessary immobilization, assist in administration of needed medications and oxygen, Rapid trauma assessments, BLS assessments, and continuous patient monitoring. Maintain emergency vehicle (Ambulance) operation and maintenance thru thorough pre and post trip inspections. Restock ambulance with necessary aid that may have been used during a shift. Written and verbal Patient Care Reports. Lifting and transferring patients. Maintain and understand bodily substance isolation.
