Leads on project management quality and excellence across the WorldFish research for development portfolio. Works with project teams to ensure projects are delivered with the highest quality, best management practices and international standards including CGIAR performance standards in line with contractual requirements; on scope, on budget, on time and to the intended impact. Leads the Project Management team and works closely with research leads across the organization to ensuring all projects are implemented and delivered effectively and efficiently in line with quality and industry best practice. Provides leadership across the PM team, research leaders and project stakeholders to ensure effective integration of quality project management across WorldFish. Also serve as Project Lead for the Asia-Africa Bluetech Superhighway.

The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day planning, management and monitoring support to the Southern Africa portfolio. Primary responsibilities include supervision and mentorship of the HQ based team (three program officers and three program coordinators) and Country Directors, supporting the development of work plans, developing and managing budgets, coordinating activities and sharing information with country teams and partners in the US, supporting startup and close out activities; monitoring and coordination of project resources (human, financial and material), monitoring and evaluation/research and reporting functions and requirements. The SPM also supports the portfolio's internal program reporting.

The Regional Senior Program Officer (RSPO) is responsible for providing day-to-day planning, management and monitoring support to the assigned programs in Southern Africa region. Primary responsibilities include supporting the development of work plans, coordinating activities and sharing information with country teams and partners in the US, supporting startup and close out activities; monitoring and coordination of project resources (human, financial and material) in particular when sourced in the US, monitoring and evaluation/research and reporting functions and requirements. The RSPO will also support the region’s internal program reporting; as well as representation of SAR at meetings internally and externally. Serve as Acting Regional Director as needed.

• Serve as program manager to develop new technologies for frontline healthcare workers in developing countries. Current portfolio includes electronic partogram, proteinuria screening and new cryotherapy device to prevent cervical cancer• Liaison with JHU students to support global health design projects including ongoing public health advisor to the projects• Lead contact for USAID-funded projects that include program implementation of new innovations for PPIUD insertion training and management of post-partum hemorrhage and birth asphyxia training• Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reporting on program activities and results to donors• Provide guidance on human centered design, qualitative research methods, field testing prototypes, tool development, field testing• Work with finance staff to prepare and track the progress of innovation budgets

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the country office, working with and supporting the technical and administrative staff Primary responsibilities include overseeing routine operations in regard to planning and implementation of all project activities, coordination of project resources (human, financial and material), monitoring & evaluation and reporting functions and requirements. Supervise technical staff and provide input to program implementation and evaluation, including serving as PI on program evaluationsImplemented quarterly reviews and monthly financial updates to improve program managementWork with HQ and field staff to develop new business opportunities and respond to requests from various donors

• Provide technical assistance to field programs to ensure M&E activities are appropriately planned and conducted. Includes assisting with M&E plans, developing evaluation protocols and IRB applications, participating in data collection, conducting data analysis and preparing reports to document program results to share with stakeholders• Design, adapt, field test, and implement monitoring and evaluation systems such as TIMS, SBMR data systems and M&E plans to assist with reporting and documentation of results• Collaborate with staff in program planning that includes M&E scopes of work, budgets, timelines, and level of effort requests• Assist in business development including preparing M&E-related aspects of new business proposals, preparing and reviewing the technical sections and meeting with potential donors

• PEPFAR Strategic Information (SI) Advisor to Botswana, South Africa and Zambia. Serve as a member of the Core Team which is the link between the field offices and HQ, specifically serve as link between in-country SI/M&E Advisors and OGAC. Participate and present at regional SI meetings and co-facilitate trainings in M&E for USG partners• Provide on-going technical assistance in SI to USG country teams. Provide guidance on OGAC policy and reporting requirements, assist with development of one-year and five-year SI Strategies, help countries develop COPs (technical and policy) and reports for OGAC, provided TA on developing in-country reporting systems• For OGAC, serve as SI reviewer for the COPs, provide input to OGAC SI budget, involved in initial development of the head-quarters database for country planning and reporting, including field test; data analysis of targets and accomplishments
