- Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Corporate, Non-Profits and Schools - Create opportunities for visibility of all branding partners and community engagement- Strategize and execute marketing ideas- Research, secure and negotiate contracts with brands, vendors and sponsors- Research and open new accounts such as libraries, schools, non-profits (opened 80 new accounts in first 2 years)- Create new campaigns per client and/or event- Provide in person and virtual presentations at Schools, Non-Profits and conferences (bilingual)- Full event planning such as signings, festival logistics, complete walkthroughs of event layout such as LA Times Festival of Books- Onsite and remote management at every event- Interview, select and hire potential sales and office staff- Educate and train all new hires with LL brand plus provide sales tips and pitches- Manage and supervise staff of 25 employees (office, 3 kiosks and events team)- Maintain a safe, productive, communicative and healthy working environment- Vendor relations- Develops and implements business policies and procedures.- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements- Manage the scheduling of day to day operations using checklists and organized daily tasks.- Daily duties involving logistics (figuring out which member of the team does which task and when) along with problem solving. - Payroll – Update schedules and communicate to employees.- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation- Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving data for reports- Assist teammates in order to achieve departmental goals- Work directly with in-house designer and direct marketing campaigns- Create new marketing resources for print and online such as catalogs and website updates- Social Media Management

- Spearheaded the formation of Salvies Who Lunch platform as a movement to attract Salvadoran American business professionals; special talents such as: singers, athletes and visual artists and more - Create authentic opportunities to promote Salvadoran culture and experiences that are uplifting and educational- Research and create special collaboration opportunities with corporate, non-profits and/or individual brands to connect and empower community- Create and execute full marketing vision for all events- Envision, plan and execute all in person events and virtual interviews and panels- Manage and develop relationships with sponsors and vendors- Special partnerships have included: Pepsi, Telemundo, NBC, LA LGBT Center, Macy's, Thrivent, Lil' Libros, LALIFF and more.- Full development of all social media engagement and creative ideas- Interview, recruit and supervise all volunteersAlways looking for new opportunities to empower together.
