FOOD, of Course! is a plant-based food service provider. Our chefs prepare delicious meals, customized to the nutritional needs and preferences of individuals and families, who are trying to eat better and live lightly on the Earth. The offerings are seasonal, the ingredients are locally sourced and organic whenever possible, and the food is remarkably delicious and nutritious.

New Story is a sustainability practices consulting firm that works with small- to medium-sized businesses, government entities and not-for-profit organizations to measure progress toward being 'greener' and more sustainable. The firm specializes in Web-based solutions that track sustainability indicators and provide management reports.

Successfully restored and developed a historic Central Florida Manor House, located on Lake Apopka and the Green Mountain Scenic Byway, into an upscale Bed and Breakfast Inn and Retreat Center. The Oakland Manor House caters to the area's many travelers and to groups and individuals who want to work or relax in the southern style of a bygone era.

Schultz designed and taught an undergraduate course, Managing Information Technology Systems, offered jointly by the IU Schools of Public & Environmental Affairs and Informatics & Computing. The course focused on understanding the project management lifecycle for information technology (IT) systems. The students worked on projects in teams and helped solve real-world problems for non-profit organizations. They developed data-driven websites, social media content, promotional videos and other IT products and services that became invaluable assets in their job-search portfolios.

Developed the initial design concepts and prototypes for a Web-based application that helps, building owners and real estate portfolio managers, reduce operational costs and become more sustainable. Schultz was instrumental in helping to grow the company from a startup to the product's launch. She developed a team and managed the product development that led to the company's success. Schultz is currently a silent partner.

Schultz helped produce some of the first websites at Indiana University. She went on to lead a marketing and communications team that had digital oversight for all nine of the IU campuses statewide. Duties included brand management and asset development for the web and social media channels.

In 1978, Benjamin and Cynthia Schultz bought and restored an old General Store, Mill, Homestead and Barn in Story, Indiana on the southern border of the Brown County State Park near Nashville, Indiana. The Story Inn became one of the first B&B's in Indiana and their restaurant was one of the first to offer a farm-to-table approach to fine-dining. Over a 16-year period the couple acquired all but one of the homes in the town and developed a 22 Acre Planned Unit Development or PUD that is now known as 'The Story Village.' They sold the Village in 1994 to spend more family time to enjoy their four children and return to former careers in academia at Indiana University in nearby Bloomington, Indiana. Today their legacy lives on; the Story Village is a well-known travel destination in southern Indiana and serves as an excellent example of a rural 19th century village that has been located, as their slogan says, "In one inconvenient location since 1851!"
