From 1981 to December 2008, I continued attending UW-La Crosse either night classes, or summer day- time classes and working full-time and taking care of family. After 2008, I financially could not afford it. When Trane offer an accredited associate degree at Western Technical College in 2015 starting in January 2016, I took advantage of the opportunity. I graduated with honors and made the President's list with a G.P.A. of 3.67My career at Trane Technologies started as a material handler/parts expeditor, which included driving stand up trucks, using computers, communicating with floor supervisors, and middle management. In 1996 I became a weekend supervisor position working with 1st & 2nd employees and the weekend employees, with management to get the monthly products shipped on schedule. In 2001 I moved to the warehouse, eventually into the billing office. In 2004 I applied for a position in the CMM inspection room. Working with the 2nd inspector I went from being a parts operator to Zeiss Calypso programmer. In 2016, I became the senior programmer working with engineers & manager on the new ECTV product line. My responsibilities were to write programs for machine qualifications auditing the new product's each part of each size and maintain the current production audit schedule and machine qualifications. This included maintaining the database entries of non-conforms, relaying the reports onto the respective engineers and managers. Additionally, this role included attending the Team development course, actively participating in Value Stream board meetings and the 9-Step problem solving activities. In 2016, when one of the CMM was replaced, I assisted in the coordination of the placement, room preparations, co-workers' assignments, and maintaining records during the down time.
